Dual Enrollment
The Dual Enrollment program is designed for students who wish to enroll concurrently in high school and college level courses. A Dual Enrollment student earns both high school and college credits, and students may be enrolled part-time or full-time.
Student Eligibility
To be eligible for the Dual Enrollment program a student must:
- Be a rising junior or senior at an eligible Georgia high school, home school or home study program
- Be on track to graduate
- Obtain approval of the high school guidance counselor and parent(s)/legal guardian(s)
- Be enrolled in courses listed on the approved Dual Enrollment Course Directory
Student Participation Requirements
Students must meet all requirements for admission. Students not meeting one or more of the requirements will not be admissible to participate in the program.
- Application for Admission
- Combined Official SAT Critical Reading and Math score of 1050 or ACT English and Math
Composite score of 20
- The minimum subsection scores must be:
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading 480 and SAT Math 440 on the SAT-1 OR
- ACT English 17 or Reading 17 and ACT Math 17 with a Composite score of 20 OR
- ACCUPLACER Exam
- Reading: 237
- Math: 258
- WritePlacer: 4
- The minimum subsection scores must be:
- ACCUPLACER and Registration
- Official transcripts from public/private high school/home school
- Minimum Academic GPA 3.0
- Home School students should submit the supplemental application/evaluation form.
